Tenby Museum goes dotty for Half Term

Tenby Museum and Art Gallery is hosting a free event for children (of all ages!) during the half term week.  I Must Be Dotty… will offer children the opportunity to have a hands-on experience of the painting style of pointillism and will be taken by Dr Kathy Talbot, former Honorary Curator of the museum.

Pointillism was a technique developed by Georges Seurat and Paul Signac in the 1880s.  It is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of colour are applied in patterns to form an image.

The event is free of charge and will take place at the museum on Thursday 19 February between 10am and 12pm.  Please feel free to contact the museum (01834 842809 or info@tenbymuseum.org.uk) if you are interested in attending or if you require additional information on this or any other events at the museum.
