The Linking Natural Science Collections in Wales touring natural history exhibition, Stuffed, Pickled & Pinned is now on display at the museum.  The exhibition features a variety of natural science artefacts from 18 museums all over Wales and is a culmination of three years work, led by the Federation of Museums and Art Galleries in Wales in partnership with Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museums Wales.

The exhibition in its entirety consists of fifty objects but due to space restrictions Tenby Museum is showing a selection of material including such ghoulish artefacts as a mummified cat and other diverse objects, ranging from a porcupine fish, a platypus, bezoar (ball of matter which a cow is unable to digest), a horse hoof ashtray, a preserved adder, whale ear bones and a ‘double prep’ rabbit skin and skeleton.

This fascinating exhibition runs until the end of May and is well worth a visit!
