New lift installed at museum

After 16 months of not having a lift to provide access to the upper galleries, the museum has recently been refurbished with a brand spanking new all singing all dancing beeping illuminated platform lift!

This provision allows access for wheelchairs, prams, those with mobility issues (and me) to the art galleries, the Story of Tenby Gallery and the Maritime Gallery, which had been out of bounds to some of our users since the old lift gave up the ghost all those months ago.

And the view from inside the lift as it whirs gently to its destination is, as you can see from the picture below, as spectacular as ever.  Some things, as they say, never change.
