New appointment at Tenby Museum

The Trustees of Tenby Museum & Art Gallery have recently taken on Chloe Ashton-Milton as its Events and Community Coordinator. This one-year role has been funded by Pembrokeshire County Council’s Enhancing Pembrokeshire Fund.

Chloe said of her appointment, “I am very excited to be taking on the role of Events & Community Coordinator. I’m eager to get out into the community and start creating strong relationships with all of our volunteers, trustees and friends. I have been lucky enough to gain much experience from working across the world for many years organising successful events including aboard cruise ships. My background in Event and Entertainment management has given me some new, fresh ideas that I can’t wait to start sharing with the Tenby Museum team.

I couldn’t think of a more perfect role for myself to step into as I have a real passion for  Pembrokeshire’s beauty. Even so that after recently buying my first house and relocating here almost 4 years ago, I am still especially captivated by the wonderful coastal path views and incredible heritage in the area. I can see why many tourists return each year, which makes me want to get involved in the local collaborations by spreading the word to all to enjoy Tenby and its wonderful museum together.”
