Museum says thank you to a loyal supporter and volunteer

Today Tenby Museum said a big thank you to Doug Perry, who recently celebrated his 90th birthday.  Doug had been a loyal volunteer for over 20 years, as well as a trustee, but sadly hung up his volunteer cap a few years ago.  He is still a loyal and vocal supporter of the museum as well as a good and close friend.

Doug, also an artist of great talent, had a couple of exhibitions at the museum of his own art work but contributed something to every show that was held here during his period of volunteering.  He participated in hanging all the art shows, as well as playing an important role in creating other imaginative displays.  The museum said their big thank you and belated happy 90th birthday to Doug in style –  with gooey chocolate cake and red wine!
