Museum gallery refurbishment Day 8

I have to start this blog by saying I feel a little bit guilty.  The progress has been great, the weather is lovely and the plasterwork (about 90% finished) is drying beautifully.  And then yours truly goes and asks for just a little bit more work which involves building up a section of the wall that has two weird shaped recesses, in order to have wholly flat walls and which the more I looked at it the weirder it made that part of the gallery look.  Gareth took it in his stride and soon he and Mark were lugging additional bits of wood up the stairs on which to hang this additional dry lining work.  I promise you, its not wasted work or creating work for work’s sake and it will finish the new space off perfectly.  Really getting there now…..
