Facilities
The museum has access for disabled visitors including two lifts. There is a hearing loop available at the reception desk and large print texts in two of the galleries.
There is a toilet (also with disabled access) and baby changing facilities.
The museum also has a Friends organisation.
Why not also enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a biscuit in the museum's café area whilst taking in the breathtaking views of Caldey Island and the Carmarthen Bay?
Also available are Research and educational facilities, library, collection and archive by appointment and special projects and activities for young visitors and adults including storytelling and prearranged events.
Audio Tour
In 2009 the museum introduced an audio tour. This bilingual tour (in English and Welsh), introduced by museum President Jamie Owen, provides further details on 20 items in the museum's collection, from geological and archaeological specimens, through various art works, maritime artefacts, natural history specimens and other items of historical and social interest.
The tour is available free of charge.
Thanks are offered to Menter Iaith and the Pembrokeshire Museum Service for their assistance in translation and to Blackbox AV and the Torch Theatre for their technical expertise.
Funding for this project was provided by Awards for All Wales.
