Current and Future Exhibitions

Antiquarian's Study - a reconstruction of the study of Reverend Gilbert Smith whose collections helped to form the original museum.
The Geology and Archaeology of Pembrokeshire - from the Precambrian (700 - 570 million years ago) to the Romano-British period (1st - 5th century AD).
Maritime and RNLI - the sea has played an important role in Tenby's history and this gallery traces the history of the lifeboat in the town as well as the history of HMS Tenby and the RAF Marine Detachment.
Pirate's Cell - the history of piracy off the shores of Tenby featuring the imprisonment of Leekie Porridge and the history of Pembrokeshire's most famous pirate, Bartholomew Roberts, aka Black Barty.
The Story of Tenby - tracing the development of the town from the 10th to the 21st century.
Ebb & Flow - the harbour has been the heart of the town for centuries and this exhibition traces the development of the harbour.
On the crest of a wave - the natural history of the area including seashore birds, mammals, birds eggs and shells.
The Wilfred Harrison Gallery - permanent art works from the museum's collection featuring artists such as Gwen John, Augustus John, Nina Hamnett, David Jones, John Piper, Claudia Williams, Eric Bradforth, Charles Norris, E J Head, W Golding and John Knapp-Fisher.
The New Art Gallery - changing temporary exhibitions featuring artists with a local connection.  Works from various mediums including painting, batik, sculpture, ceramics and photography are shown in this gallery.
