The new exhibition by Mark Raggett was officially opened at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery on Friday 17 June. Paintings and Drawings features 56 works by Mark in a variety of mediums and the exhibition was opened by Jamie Leonard, Production Designer.

Jamie said, “As soon as he can, after he completes art directing a film project, Mark will go to his London studio to draw and paint. This is what gives him a vital balance to the two creative sides of his life…Landscape is Mark’s dominant subject, especially the landscape of his native Wales to which he returns for fresh inspiration. He loves the spectacular dynamic of the Pembrokeshire coastline, the light, colours and mood which are constantly changing with different seasons and times of day. Mark is always striving for an authentic way to portray a particular moment, how to evoke his experience of an expanse of land, sea, sky, which he says are a ‘cipher for his own emotions’…Mark, I wish you every success with this wonderful, prolific show.”

This sales exhibition runs until Sunday 31 July.
