Day three of this project and today it was the turn of pupils from St Teilo’s RC Primary School to interpret the theme of beach pollution/clean beaches.

Accompanied by their teacher Amanda Harley, the four girls tackled the theme with enthusiasm and vivid splashes of colour to present another strong picture on this ongoing issue.

Gracie Adams, Khadijah Alie, Phoenix Collins (all 11 years old) and Layney Lindsay (10 years old) thoroughly enjoyed the morning painting in the museum foyer.  As they only had a brief time away from school and because the paint was not dry enough for them to compete the work, the panel will be taken to school shortly and finished there.

There are two more panels to be painted and all eight can then be attached to the railings outside the museum to present a powerful ecological message.
