Come along on Saturday the 24th of November at 2pm, for the launch of Phil Okwedy’s first published book ‘Wil & the Welsh Black Cattle’. Phil Okwedy is a performance storyteller & mythmaker who draws deeply on his Welsh/Nigerian heritage and multiple cultures. He performs in clubs, theatres and festivals both here and abroad.

‘Wil & the Welsh Black Cattle’ is a set of Welsh folktales framed around the mythology of the ancient cattle drovers. The story takes us from Wales to London and the USA with fantastical fairy elements. It’s a family delight and a perfect opportunity to hear extracts told by the professional storyteller himself.

Peter Stevenson the illustrator will also be in attendance, who has had much success with illustrating other books and publishing several collections of tales of his own.

Donations to Tenby Museum & Art Gallery are appreciated on the day.
