As part of the Welsh Government’s initiative of The Great Weekend of Adventure (2nd and 3rd April), staff at Tenby Museum are pulling on eye patches and hoisting the mainsail and shivering the timbers with a pirate event on Sunday 3 April at 11am.
Cap’n Teifion Powell will be undertaking the reading of two pirate adventures and he will be aided and abetted by two scurvy dogs, Cabin Boy Lewis and Powder Monkey Mort, as the imagination takes to the high seas and rollicks around the adventurous world of storytelling!
The usual admission prices will apply (we might consider taking pieces of eight) and children will be free as always. However if you or any of your party do come dressed as a pirate we will knock £1 off the admission price! There will be lots of Aaarghing! and Long John Silver grimaces and along with the two stories, we hope this helps to make the museum’s contribution to the national Weekend of Adventure a fun and memorable visit. So splice the mainbrace and with a yo ho ho, we hope to see you here on Sunday!
