Staff at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery said a big thank you to all its volunteers with a coffee and cake party on Tuesday 2 June for all their hard work and continued dedication. The museum has over twenty volunteers, some of whom unfortunately could not make it on the day, who undertake a variety of jobs ranging from reception duties through to research, taking in cataloguing, librarianship, administration, collections care, picture framing and DIY skills along the way.
Honorary Curator Kathy Talbot stated, “The museum has always been grateful to the voluntary work force and they help out with so many facets of the museum work and gladly give up their time and expertise to make the museum a great success. Today was the opportunity to say a big formal thank you for all of this. They are a great team to work with and we would be lost without them.”
